There is just something so beautiful about sitting next to a person who is sad, when you’re sad too, and singing together to worship Jesus. We are no strangers to pain and suffering. The loss we feel is something that will always be sad, and will never truly go away. Our situations are different, and we react to the pain in different ways. There are no words to say in times like these. There is only Jesus, and His ultimate comfort. May He be glorified in all types of suffering. For one thing we know is He is good all the time.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
