Long story short, I have had a bit of a challenging break. It seems that bad news has just piled up and that I’m never going to get a break. And I have grown so much because God has been teaching me to really lean on Him. But He is also teaching me that this too, shall pass. While I have gone through heartbreaking situations this week, I still have so many countless blessings. I live in a country where I am free to worship Him without fear of persecution. I have two healthy parents who love each other and me dearly. They have been able to provide me with an education and a safe home where I never go hungry. I am doing well in school and I have amazing friends and extended family. And the list goes on and on. But God does not discount my pain because of all I do have, but comforts me as I go through this hard time. He is so so good to me.
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
